MEET: Every Thursday – Please check with Office as changes are possible from time to time.
TIME: 2.00PM to 4.ooPM - Includes Tea afterwards and fellowship.
VENUE: Ruwach Church Offices - Downstairs.
PROGRAMME:
The Meetings will include -
- - Praise and Worship – “We were made to worship”
- - Prayer – ” Praying believing”
- - The Word of God, includes discussing Sunday’s sermon and Word’s given – “Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word”
- - Break bread -” Remember me”
- - Spiritual Gifts allowed to flow – ” That you may desire the greater Gift, prophesy”
- We believe that Church is not just for Sunday but everyday life.
- Meeting during the week is there to strengthen our understanding of the Word of God but also to encourage and support one another.
- Discussing Sunday’s Sermon allows us to ask questions and study Gods Word and to test what is said.
- Friendship and Fellowship is the backbone of Community, this we pursue to act out with Love and Commitment to all generations that come into our Church Meetings.
We are the Older Group within the Church, still playing a vital role to help build Gods Kingdom using our years of experiance, hopefully with wisdom, to effectively pass it on.
OTHER FOCUS:
- Individual prayer — We honour Birthdays and pray for blessings. — If needing special prayer, will be visited by 2 members as nec.
- Encourage Discipleship – To encourage/support/mentor one another. We believe it is healthy to be acountable to one another. We encourage prayer partners.
- Socials – We plan to have Monthly socials with a variety of ideas and places visited. We do invite Friends to some of these, to be a blessing.
- Outward focus — We pray for currant events and situations, being a help where we can. We love Missions and support our Church outreaches and give as God ables us too.
