Sunday Celebrations

Please note that there are ongoing building works taking place to extend the hall and community room at Northlands Wood. Whilst this will eventually lead to us having more room, there are currently temporary walls up at the rear of the hall and community room which have taken away some of the space that we are used to. We hope that this work will be completed by the end of the year!

Services

Our Sunday morning services take place at Northlands Wood Primary Academy, where children's work for pre-school and primary aged children, as well as youth work for secondary school aged young people are provided during our services. A typical Sunday morning begins with a welcome, where news and notices are shared and a short prayer is prayed, before we worship by singing together, led by a small, lively band. After worship there is a talk given by one of our preaching team. At the end of the service prayer is offered to anyone who would like to receive it, before tea and coffee is served and many people stick around for a catch-up or a hello after the service. All people are welcome at our services, regardless of age, background and belief.

Children's and Youth Work

During our services we offer children's work for all Pre-school and Primary School aged children. Children begin their morning in the main service and leave for their group, held in the classrooms, after the first worship song. Their time in their group consists of lots of play, games, teaching, stories, crafts, music, dancing and many other exciting activities. Secondary school aged young people remain in the service during sung worship, and leave for their group at the end of worship, just before the sermon begins. Our children's and youth work is led by a team of enthusiastic leaders and helpers, all of whom are fully DBS checked and love spending time with the children and young people on a Sunday.
